EDIT: James, if you’re certain it’s something in my system, you don’t need to feel obliged to spend your precious time debugging it. But any help is of course more than appreciated.
EDIT 2: it works again! I went to chrome://flags and enabled " Enables Display Compositor to use a new gpu thread." (something i found on some forum after googling problems with maps and WebGL). Not sure whether this was the actual issue or just applying settings Chrome resets stuff…
