Country-specific leaderboards

Sure, for each city we see the total number of streets with a percentage. Be interesting to see the total number of streets for a state as well.

 just sorted the Ideas category by votes & saw that this was still open … I never got around to adding the street count to the region/country pages … that’s going out in the next release.
I’ll close this thread a little after that goes live.

Hi @JamesChevalier it’s been a while, thought I’d check in and see if this could be moved back up the priorities list. I believe the leaderboards by country are still only ranked by total streets for striders with any activities completing at least one street in a country, rather than ranked by streets completed within the country. It seems it was something you were targeting in January but what happened?

They’re definitely ranked by streets within the country now. Here’s an example from the United States where the lower rank has more total streets:

Yes looking at country Sweden and region Stockholms län it looks like they now only include the streets actually run in that country or region

OK I see, I was going to Leaderboard - CityStrides and filtering by country (Portugal). The country-specific leaderboards themselves are somewhat hidden on the Country page. Wouldn’t it make more sense for that leaderboard to populate when navigating in the way I mentioned?

Right, now I see, that Leaderboard is really strange. I would expect that to give the same result as going the way I used
Is it intentional that the Leaderboard shows which runner, that has at any time run in Sweden, has the highest street (city/country) count? Doesn’t sound useful to me.

I think my earlier post is still largely true

The lists on the city, region, and country pages are all operating as expected.
The global Leaderboard page’s UI is still a pile of burning trash.

This thread focuses on the city/region/country pages, but the conversation keeps on meandering back to the global Leaderboard page. The conversation around the global Leaderboard filtering issues is probably better off in Leaderboard filtering issues
I’ll close this thread, since the feature is complete, and it’s really tough for me to keep up across multiple threads.

The AMSAP Challenge Leaderboard idea could also influence the global Leaderboard. I’d still love feedback in there on that separate topic.
