Archived Synchronization Issues

No luck here too, still stuck on July 25…

No luck here too. Last activity is still July 23.

Same here. No change.

Still no update on my account since July 26 :frowning:

I did a test today. Up until now I have always had my strava activities default to “private” so I could go in and update the name and add picture etc before I would save it as public. On my run today I turned off the default private to see if that would make a difference to my city strides and it showed up within 30 minutes. Could you do one final manual sync of my account to pull the missing activities and going forward I’ll just leave everything public until the code gets fixed here. That way my citystrides will always be up to date

Still no updates for me since July 26. I’m using runkeeper

Alright, great news… I think… Hopefully…

I looked over my code & found where it wasn’t quite working out. I’ve got that fix up now & it seems to be working well - check out your page @marco (it’s still synchronizing, so you might see partial data, but it is going which is a big step)!

So, give that ~24 hours & all Runkeeper users should see their account fully updated.
Additionally, I found a place to improve the sync to help mitigate Runkeeper’s new super-tiny limits (5 activities per minute). I should be able to get that update in there sometime today…

James, it’s looking good!
My 3 runs since july 25 are showing up, the run from yesterday isn’t complete yet but that’s fine.
Looks like Citystrides is alive again

Yes run updated. That’s okay.
I just miss 1 run from July 30.
Let’s wait another day to remover.

Log in second time and now everything is in place.
Good work James

Minor update on the Strava issue…

I’ve solidly figured out the problem, and I’ve relayed all the details to Strava support. I’m waiting to hear whether it’s something that’s fixable on their end or if I’m going to have to fix it on my end.

In the meantime, since I’ve done all the debugging I can, I’m going to re-enable Strava auto-sync in CityStrides. You should all see new activities start appearing in the site over the next day or so.

Sorry for all the trouble on this, but I’m hopeful that this is heading in the right direction now.

Yes! My runs are updated. Thanks James!! Great job.

My MapMyRun log from this morning is not showing up in my activities and it normally shows up right away. Are there syncing issues at the moment? Thanks in advance!

There are. Over the weekend, my servers got super overloaded. It’s still working through a lot of jobs… please have patience - it’ll all come through!

Thanks @JamesChevalier! I’m sure you’re very busy with the requests so I appreciate the time you put into this. Such a great website.

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but I’ve not seen an update for my last two runs, the first of which was Sunday 3rd Sept. Anyone else experiencing this with Runkeeper?

No no, it’s ok - I want to make sure these issues get fixed!

I’m taking a look now, on my lunch break, and I got the sync started. It seems to be running OK now - my only guess so far is that some new code I just released has helped the sync run … The code backed off a bit more, because I noticed some lingering issues with the Runkeeper API limits.

Not sure if it’s just my account at this point but - got an activity from last Friday 8th September on Runkeeper that still hasn’t showed up (now 12th Sept.)
