I created my account a few days ago. It is slow, but very cool - and it’s still pulling in my data from Garmin. I realized that I have ~100 walks on Garmin that are showing on my map, and it seems like deleting them 1 by 1 is going to take forever. If I “disconnect” my Garmin (deleting everything on City Strides), then go to Garmin and delete all the walks (I really don’t care about keeping them, only my thousands of runs), will I be able to come back to City Strides and start over by linking the same Garmin account (or will it balk because that was used once before)? This seems the fastest way to bring in only clean (run) data.
It looks like you’ve already disconnected your account - it has a signup date of today & only 3 activities.
Things should sync in as expected - nothing about the previous connection should affect things.
Take care not to track new walks, since those will automatically sync into CityStrides.
Yep, that’s what I did. I deleted all walks from garmin going back 5 years (besides, that’s when I moved to this town) and reconnected. Thanks for replying!
