Unless my feet got very wet at Warermead parkrun, my footsteps definitely crossed! Clearly a GPS discrepancy.
See the examples about, including my own where the gap between GPS traces is less than the width of the pavement (sidewalk). This is the scenario I am questioning, not activities either side of a broad street.
What tolerance should be selected if it is not 0? 1 meter, 3 meters? At what point is it too loose where footsteps did not cross and now it’s not a true connection?
I have quite a few gps error missed connections in my territories, and I’ve been solving it but creating a manual back-dated activity in RunKeeper to connect the ones i know had crossing footsteps. For the ones where im not certain, I’m planning trips back to link them up.
