There is a lot of new construction in my town. I’ve been running some of the new roads, which don’t appear as roads on CityStrides yet. Once those roads do show up in CityStrides, will I get credit for having run them?

Yes. CS will give you credit for any new nodes you hit when they are added by a city update. You can see the last time the city was updated from OpenStreetMap on the top right of the city page. If you want to be notified when city updates happen, you can turn on notifications for individual cities in the settings.
