Possible OSM filtering issue: highway=path included as a CityStrides street

City: Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier, Québec, CityStrides city ID: 39168, OSM way: 1356689933, Name: Sentier La Visite. This OSM way is tagged: highway=path, foot=designated, bicycle=designated, name=Sentier La Visite, surface=dirt, tracktype=grade3.The way appears in CityStrides’ 92 streets for Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier. The city’s current page shows its latest sync as 2026-07-11.This appears inconsistent with CityStrides’ stated street-focused policy. In the February 2026 discussion [“Include path that has foot=designated”], the community explicitly notes that highway=path is excluded and that CityStrides is intended to count OSM ways classified as streets rather than footpaths. The important distinction is that this is not merely a request to include designated paths. The path is already being included despite that policy.Could you please check why OSM way 1356689933 is being imported into city 39168?In particular, could you verify whether the current city-sync filtering is supposed to exclude highway=path. If so, this looks like a candidate for a sync/filtering bug.For reference, the CityStrides page currently reports 92 streets and a sync date of 2026-07-11.

It’s not tagged as path, it’s a track, those are included in the import to CityStrides

@hans1 : You’re right, this segment is tagged as a track . I was referring to below segment of the same trail which is tagged as a path. However, looking closing in Citystrides, the track segment I was referring to is effectively not included. Thanks for your help.
