Hi!
I have a run from October 6 that shows 0 streets progressed and 0 streets completed (with new streets). I use Strava and have tried to re-sync on multiple occasions, and more recent runs are recorded accurately. Please help ![]()

Strava doesn’t let me show people’s data to anyone but themselves, so it won’t be possible for me to review things directly.
While you’re on that activity page, from your screenshot, click on Node Hunter to see if anything appears on the map. In cases like this, the most likely causes are either the city doesn’t exist in CityStrides (nothing will appear with Node Hunter) or you’ve already completed/progressed that area in past activities (similar result).
Also on that page, click the button on the map with the globe icon. That will display all city borders on the map. Zoom out until you see that city’s border, click the border, and click the city name in the popup that appears - that will take you to the city page. On that page, search for the street in question and click its Go button. If you previously completed this street with an older activity, it’ll display that info to you there.
…Let’s see where that leaves us.
OK I see the issue! Most streets that I’ve run had nodes mid-block, so that I have to run through each block to “complete” it. It looks with those nodes that they fall only on intersections I’ve passed in the past. So the CityStrides app already saw it as “complete” before I had run the full thing.
Sorry about that. It was just different behavior (based on the nodes’ locations) than I expected from other runs.
It’s all good!
I am working on a change that will resolve these grid-city issues where running all the parallel streets also mark the perpendicular streets as complete. There’s no timeline in place, yet, but it’s looking like I should be able to get that out before end of year.
That’s great! It’s definitely an edge case as this is the first time I’ve come across this scenario in a few years.
I have the same issue. I did a run today that should have completed many streets but it says I made no progress and completed no streets. The nodes where I ran are still red (see image).
If this is from today, it’s caused by some testing that I’m doing which has gotten a bit out of hand. Your data will be processed correctly, it’s just going to take a while. The issue shouldn’t persist - it was caused by a one-off test I ran which caused significantly more work to queue up than I expected.
Thanks for the reply! That makes sense:)
