No background map

I have purchased a new iPhone 15 pro with iOS 17.0.3 and I no longer get the background maps displayed - just a blank white screen. Map ox issue?

I’ve heard of this issue a couple times, and clearing the browser data for CityStrides has fixed it each time. I’m unsure what the underlying cause/issue is, though.

  • Settings → Safari → Advanced (all the way at the bottom) → Website Data
  • Search “citystrides”
  • Swipe the entry for citystrides.com and tap Delete

This will also log you out of the forum here, but after you log back into the main site you can re-log in here.
