A few months ago, I input Fair Oaks, CA into the missing cities tracker. The tracker shows yes, this city was added; however, it still doesn’t show in my list of cities. I know I have multiple runs with completed streets over the last few years for this city. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!
Is that North Fair Oaks, CA? I can’t see any runs there on your LifeMap?
I input it into the Missing Cities tracker as Fair Oaks (no North designation). If you look at my screenshot, there are multiple streets completed within Fair Oaks, CA. The city wraps around the Citrus Heights border.
Looks like the North Fair Oaks you’re referring to is San Mateo County- mine is Sacramento county. 
Yes, now I see! Your Fair Oaks is not (yet) in CS. I can see Citrus Heights and Rancho Cordova is there but not FO in between
I wonder how long the turnaround time is between being entered on the Missing Cities ss, marked as “yes” added, and when it will populate into my profile?
When it says that “yes”, it is fixed in OSM - it still requires action from the admins of this site to import that data into City Strides. I’ve been waiting about 5 months for my city to be added. I’ve seen some say that there have been cities on the tracker for over a year.
The other thing to consider is that, if I can believe the internet, Fair Oaks isn’t a city - it’s a “census-designated place”. I’m not sure how that would be treated here. I know that by me, there are several locations that are unincorporated. I still run those streets - 'cause I like a complete map, but they don’t advance progress toward any city. They’re just “bonus” streets.

Oh boy, that’s a long wait! 
It’s always such a bummer when I map out a run and it says zero streets completed.
I vaguely remember a Fair Oaks being present in the missing city tracker … I can’t recall the exact reason why I removed it. It might have been that I didn’t have a corresponding OpenStreetMap link & couldn’t determine which Fair Oaks was being requested.

I just added that one to the list, just in case.
The overall city import process is so slow because CityStrides is a one-person project and the import process can put a huge load on the system (particularly if a newly added city already has a lot of people running there).
I’m definitely planning on working on this list as much as I can over the holidays.
