I now see an error message appear as the screen goes white but not always. It says MAPGL2 not available, even though i have checked and it is there. Any ideas?
I haven’t figured it out yet. I’m also working with someone else over email. I’m wondering how these test maps work out for you:
A) 2.15.0
B) 3.0.1
C) 3.6.0
D) 3.7.0
E) 3.8.0-beta1
If they behave differently, it would be helpful if you noted the version/letter with the explanation of the behavior.
Aside from the maps directly, I’m interested in whether this displays “Your browser supports WebGL2” along with a spinning cube: https://get.webgl.org/webgl2/
Maps A, B and C opened fine. I could move around and zoom in and out. Maps D and E both showed only a white screen.
The link to WEBGL2 showed the spinning cube and confirmed my chrome was working fine.
Thanks, this is helpful.
Can you share details about your device and operating system?
You mentioned you’ve tried both Chrome and Firefox; presumably the latest versions?
I am using a samsung, galaxy a12. Android version 12. My wife has the same phone and i am able to view city strides maps fine on her phone. Both chrome and firefox show the map for a fraction of a second then go white. Edge shows the map but once you interact with it by zooming in then it also goes white. Firefox and edge were downloaded recently so will be the latest versions.
