Long lines not linked to activity

Hi, I’m a new strider, and I’ve searched the posts and haven’t found the answer.
My map is a mess. I have one “flyover” line that I can’t seem to even find an activity for to try trimming it. I’ve only been to that location on 2 occasions, once for the race that is tracked, and once to camp, where the line begins, but I have NO activities in Strava from that week.
I’ve seen in videos people’s activities are highlighted when they hover over the route on the Lifemap, to see the date of that activity, but idk if that is a paid feature, a discontinued feature, or a newbie problem and I’m doing something wrong. I’d like to clean up some of those flyovers to make my map a bit cleaner. Any help?

Oh, yeah, these long-straight-line activities are caused by starting the tracker … pausing it … moving a great distance … unpausing it. The system doesn’t know how to handle the gaps, so it just draws the line from the pre/post pause points.

The hover feature is a part of LifeMap Advanced Supporter Feature - CityStrides

The activity list on your profile page does support searching by various date formats - you can enter things like 2025 to see everything from that year … October, to see everything from any year’s October … 2025-06 to see everything from June 2025
Maybe that can help in finding the activity
