This kind of merges/expands on some other #ideas
Add a chart to the city page (similar to the chart on the logged-in homepage) that displays completed streets within the city over time.
Ideally, I’d like some interactivity that lets you hover over the chart to see which streets were completed - not just the count.

Hi James,
These are some great ideas, and I would love to see some more specific stats, exactly as you present them here. Any development about this?
As I am progressing in Berlin, Germany, I would like to see some more precise stats for this city particularly. I use the time filter (on map view) a lot to visualize the progress, and I sometime refer to the city stats (first screenshot), but they both show me an incomplete analysis.

I am wondering whether it’s possible to have a graph similar to the one on the profil section, but only for one city at a time?
This way, I could know how many percent/how many streets I covered in a given timeframe, and have a more precise idea of how long it will take me to run all of Berlin.
Thank you!

Before CS included more stats I used to track my progress in a spreadsheet and tried to figure out some predictions for completion. I tried a few measures (mainly averaging progress over different time spans and extrapolating) to get estimates.
In the end my project took much longer (by over a year
) than I had predicted. The main issues I had with my estimates were:
- density of streets is not uniform across a city
- the last couple of percentage points involved chasing streets spread all over the city, with much lower streets/km than earlier activities
- variable mileage has a big impact on the prediction
- injuries & other life events
I stopped feeding my spreadsheet since a lot of the stuff I was doing was getting covered in CS, and because my ETC was too variable to be of much use. Has anyone played with these kinds of predictions? Would be interesting to hear if there is a better way to do it!
