Help with nodes that are on private property

Yarmouth Parade in oxley vale NSW 2340 Australia is incorrect and has nodes that are on private property. The street ends earlier then is shown on city strides. I tried to walk this yesterday and was met by gates and 3 dogs.

I was bored in a meeting, so I changed it in OpenStreetMap for you. I made that end of the street a driveway, instead of a residential road.

It might take a little while to be synchronised to CityStrides though.

Thanks so much

It’s only 3 huge dogs, can’t believe you didn’t jump that fence. :baby_chick:

I have a similar problem in Duffel, Belgium. There’s a street where apartment buildings are currently being constructed (still a construction site), but this street will no longer be walkable. Is it possible to remove the two nodes on Rode Kruislei?

Could you elaborate more on this situation? On streetview it just looks like a small entrance straat to some houses. Is this not up to date? On the views and info via maps etc. i wouldn’t make this private or delete the street

Google Maps satelliteview shows a construction site

Hey Patrick, The Street View image isn’t up to date. They’ve torn down those houses and are building a large apartment complex there. An apartment building will be built where the street used to be; there will be another street, but not where the nodes are. Kind regards, Hazel

Hi Hazel

I found the below post from tamworthslim that tells you how to fix the problem. I had another street with a similar issue. Hope this helps
