Hard mode turned off for cities, difficulty re-activating

Hi,

I believe my account has been in hard mode for some time. However, about three days ago I changed my account from private to public. After that, my streets were starting to get credit at 90%, and my account no longer has the hard mode banner in Richmond, VA.

I tried making sure that hard mode is checked in settings and re-saved. Then, yesterday, I did a new run which checked off some more nodes. But, my city-level account still isn’t showing as hard mode.

When I check my profile page, it shows hard mode, but not at the city level.

Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

:thinking: I have no idea how that happened, but I noticed hundreds of people with the same issue.

I just very stupidly corrected all the affected accounts, which has kicked up almost two million verification jobs … so … some stuff might be delayed :anxious_face_with_sweat:
