is my first time in Luxor and no node progress is detected for almost 15km albeit street names are visible in rendered map
Oh, weird, Luxor is not present.
That whole area in the middle is actually a gap. There’s no corresponding city entry for that area.
It looks like I can add Relation: ‪Luxor‬ (‪3726211‬) | OpenStreetMap and then rebuild the global city map.

The Egyptian data is weird also in other aspects: البØر الأØمر, البØر الأØمر - CityStrides is more than a city. Since I don’t see an admin_level=6 city Hurghada, it’s the best option for collecting streets somehow.
Yeah, there are no places mapped any smaller than that in OpenStreetMap within that region, so I had to take what I could get.
