Hi James,
I have three cities, which were 100% completed, which have had new streets (new developments) created. The 100% logo next to my name has disappeared implying that I have never completed those towns. I know this was working in the past so something may have broke. The three towns that I had completed are:
Londonderry, NH
Portsmouth, NH
Plaistow, NH
The short version is that this was an issue for a part of February.
I made a change to address a situation where a new signup would get a progress email for each of their cities when they were synced next. This change also accidentally made it possible to drop the 100% status.
To address that issue with dropped 100% status, I made a change that blocks it from being changed after it reaches 100. So the next time you reach 100% it’ll stay there.
So this means that even when new streets get added we don’t need to walk/run them to complete them again?
I have two or three suburbs that I’ve completed that have dropped down a percent or two when new streets were added. I actually don’t mind going back and doing the new bits. It would be harder to know this needs to be done if the percentage doesn’t change.
No no no, we’re only talking about the icon that is displayed for people who have at any point finished a city.
Edit
I wrote and rewrote my reply up there so many times that I forgot I didn’t explicitly state that this is only for a bit of data I save to keep track of your milestone achievements. It’s just a database field nobody sees, it’s not your actual city progress.
