It’s fine to mention your requests here in the forum since the spreadsheet doesn’t have any notifications, but I can’t work on missing cities via forum posts - it’s much too hectic for me.
I just created a new subject “Streets not counted. Missing city in Citystrides”. But then I found this topic which seems like the appropriate place to post this. Basically I found that Lower Macungie Township, PA is missing.
Here’s my original post for reference:
The following is the link to todays activity. The streets were added to my lifemap but they were not added to my completed or progressed street total for that activity. They are in the city of Lower Macungie Township, PA. However that city seems to be a missing city in Citystrides. Neighboring cities; Upper Macungie Township and Macungie are included cities in Citystrides and are working fine. It seems to me that any street in that city won’t be counted unless it’s added. Is it possible that open streets is not recognizing it properly.
I just added two Townships in Ohio. I think I have them sorted on OSM but if not let me know. Symmes Township Ohio and Deerfield Township Ohio. I added both the spreadsheet
The following is the link to yesterday’s activity. The streets were added to my lifemap but the ones in mile 2,3 and 4 were not added to my completed or progressed street total for that activity. They are in the city of Weisenberg Township, PA. However that city seems to be missing city in Citystrides. Neighboring city, Upper Macungie twp is an included city in Citystrides and portions of yesterday’s activity were in that city and are being credited in that city correctly. . Is it possible that open streets is not recognizing it properly.
Haha, I’m just really excited about these townships and more streets to run!
There must be two Gaines Townships in Michigan. The one I am looking for is south of Grand Rapids on the west side of the state. The existing one is on the east side.
There is a Byron Center, which is the city of Byron Center and small. There is also a Byron Township, which is larger.
It’s looking like, overall, I should import both 7 & 8 admin_level values & then mark some of the 8 places as nested in the 7 e.g. Byron Center in Byron Township, Caledonia in Caledonia Charter Township, Middleville in Thornapple Township (and likely some more).
I want to compare the two levels a bit more before I dive into that, though… (level 8 query …vs… level 7 query)
