Adding streets to Wilmington, NC

I need to get an area updated with Nodes in Wilmington, NC.

I have a run in this area that has no nodes. How can I get it added?

It looks like (most) all the streets in that area are marked private. Is it a private and/or gated community? PS. I do see some gates at the ingress/egress points.

It is a gated community. The city annexed it, so they are city streets.

Well if it is gated, then the streets are considered private, and CS does not import “private” streets.

Can pedestrians come and go freely? It might be possible to mark the streets OK for foot traffic. Is that the case?

Edit: Since you said you have run the area, that sounds like the case, so just need to confirm.

PS. Just clicked your link. I thought it was a link to the city, but I see now it is your actual activity, so I made the changes. Next time CS updates Wilmington, NC, you should get credit. PPS. Hopefully I didn’t miss any. If I did, post back after the update.

Eric, I think this will not work. CS first checks general access. If that’s yes, then it continues to check if foot is yes. If general access is no it’s immediately skipped. The way to do this is to set general access to yes, foot yes, and vehicles private. (And for those also using StreetFerret, they do it the other way, check foot access, not general)

Pedestrians cannot come and go. It is gated. I mean…I come and go. They never really stop me, but they probably are supposed to.

Thanks for that @hans1. I guess that’s the best that can be done. Maybe luck will prevail.
