Unfortunately, there’s no city there. It’s just outside of Portland, and OpenStreetMap doesn’t have any usable Relation or Way record to act as a city in CityStrides.
Oh that’s interesting! The houses and businesses on the island have Portland addresses, so I just assumed it would fall in Portland. Thanks for checking.
I had the privilege to run in Grande Prairie, AB. My activity sync’d but did not give me credit for my streets. Will it update and I just need to be patient? All help much appreciated.

Your runs and map are hidden, perhaps if you take a screenshot of the activity and share it, it’s easier to find out what went wrong.
What streets do you think you completed? From a quick glance at those activity maps it looks like you ran several partial streets but maybe no entire streets? Have you been credited with progressing streets in those activities?
This is a screen shot of 80th avenue. I only ran part of it. But I don’t get credited nodes for running any of it. I don’t think I ran any one complete street in Grande Prairie.
You only get credited for complete streets, not individual nodes.
Here is an example where I got no completed streets but as you can see three progressed streets. Don’t you see a count for progressed street for this run?
In the past, I would get credit for nodes. For Grand Prairie, I got no credit for any nodes. This is my first (recorded) run in Canada, if that helps:
Maybe a confusion of terms here. When you say a node is credited, do you mean it’s blue and not red? That makes sense, as in your pic from Old Washington. But I don’t quite understand how you got that pic, normally I can use Node hunter to show red nodes, but to see all blue ones I’d need to click show on every street in the list, is that what you have done? Maybe if you could set your profile public we could help you better?
(And an aside if others are checking this, there is a Grand Prairie in Texas only, this Grande Prairie in Alberta, Canada)
Ah, I see what’s going on…
Nodes only appear as blue if you’re looking at a city that you are not running … where “you are not running” is defined as “you have not completed a street in that city yet.”
So, it looks like you have 3 activities that were within that city’s borders & you completed 500+ nodes, but you have not completed any streets.
That city won’t appear in your city list on your profile (and progress won’t be displayed to you) until you complete at least one street.
ok, that makes sense. Thanks for checking it out.
Jim, maybe I’m missing something, but if I look at a city where I have never (really) run, or I have only run parts of some streets, how do I show all nodes in blue? I can use Node hunter, but that shows only all red
The Show
button for each street does that.
If the city is in your list on your profile page (you have completed at least one street there), then it will show nodes as red (incomplete) or purple (complete)
If the city is not in your list on your profile page (you have not completed a street there), then it shows nodes as blue
Ah, ok, I see, I still need to check street by street. I thought it was some magic show-all!
