They are impossible to access.
What is the best practice other than to manually mark them as completed?
If you want to see it fixed in Citystrides, you have to change the information in Openstreetmap. There is some info in the forum under the wiki tag, see for example this post. Once fixed (in your case, access changed to private or similar), the street will be removed in the next CS update of your city.
