more sorting and structuring routes can always help. My biggest miss in the route creation, i would like to see more than one planned route, so i could plan several routes without having to guess where my already planned routes are covering unrun roads.
I would like to be able to have multiple routes up when planning routes. I usually plan routes a week or so before I run and several at a time. I’m following a training plan so I know how many miles a day I will be running. It would be great to see previously planned routes as to not plan a new route on streets already used.

I’ll need to figure out what that UI will look like.
I expect/encourage people to build their routes from their city page, so that all the relevant data is available.
The map is already loaded with buttons, so a new “show my routes” button is basically out of the question (without a larger design overhaul).
I could associate routes with cities, and add a new routes tab to the city page … then add show/hide buttons similar to how you can show/hide streets and other people’s LifeMap.
Just want to +1 this concept as I use the app similarly and see if there are any updates on this that I might have missed. Thanks!
So I’ve got a rebuild of the routes list page locally (not released yet)… It technically does what’s asked, but it still feels lacking…

It behaves just like all of the street lists do… Show/Hide/Hide All & Go takes you to the route page
This seems like it would be fine for quickly creating a pile of routes…
- Click the Show button for any existing relevant routes
- Create a new route, click Save
- The listing automatically updates with the new route added to the top of the list
- Click the Show button for that route
- Reset Route Builder & repeat
By not building the route on the city page, I lose out on my list of incomplete streets. There’s still the LifeMap & the global city borders to toggle on/off, maybe that’s enough…
Well, even if it isn’t this does seem like an improvement to the route list that should be released. I’ll try to get this out today.
