The biggest piece of this release is that the non-supporter LifeMap is using a completely different set of data. It works by downloading your full data, and then displaying it all on the map. It’s also cached, so each time you view your LifeMap between activities it should load nice and fast. I’m hopeful that this might resolve the “too much data” issue that some people experience - usually on older devices.
Related to that is a test map that I’ll use with supporters. It’s the same setup as and I want to determine whether this is a better or worse experience for you. Check out Help test a LifeMap idea (potential fix for "too much data" issue) to help out with that.
- add a notification link (the bell icon) to the top right top bar if there are any unread
