update I reverted these changes because my database was fully saturated … checked in on it this morning (Oct 24) & it was still hosed 
and after some research, found a ton of web connections to the database all trying to get activity data (you all run too much, so this can be an expensive query) 
I don’t know why they existed, yet, but clearing them out has restored sanity to the database. I’ll try another deploy later…
