Not a minor thing. But it would be helpful to be able to unpin cities not only in the “cities” tab but also in the list of pinned cities so people dont need to search for the city they want to remove. I believe this used to be the case but right now not it seems.

Honestly, I don’t like the pin/unpin button … I think it’s big and weird, but I don’t think reducing its size is possible while keeping it usable. So it’s kind of swept under the rug for that reason.
If I can get around to redesigning it in some better way, I’d be happy to include it in both lists.

I’m at a loss when using my phone even finding where to pin and unpin cities
Additionally, for some reason my hometown is pinned automatically and I cannot unpin it. Is this a new update or a bug?
On your profile page, there’s a tab bar with a list of icons. The globe icon contains a list of your cities. You can pin/unpin from that list.
That’s your default city. It’s initially set based on the first street that’s calculated as complete. It’s pinned by default and cannot be unpinned. You can change the default city at any time, in your Settings page.
There have been various bugs throughout time, which let things get into a state where the default city was not pinned. That’s not the default/expected behavior, though.
