Could I connect ( direct ) from flow.polar.com to citystrides ?
( not through strava ? )

CityStrides currently only supports what’s listed in the main sign in/up pages. I’ve had two longstanding projects of adding Suunto and Polar support that I haven’t completed yet. 
Thanks for adding this post - it’ll help me gauge interest based on the number of votes it gets. It’ll also help me work with anyone who would be interested in helping out by being the first/beta-test users of the Polar connection (maybe you?).

Thanks for your patience - it took me quite a while to finish the Polar integration.
You can now sign up for CityStrides or connect existing accounts with Polar.
If you’re connecting it to an existing account, that can be done in the Activity Trackers section of your Settings page.
One big limitation is that Polar does not provide access to any data prior to connecting services. They do offer a full account export, but I don’t know what’s provided in that zip file.
While my local testing worked out well … things don’t always go perfectly in real life.
If you decide to connect your account, let me know how it goes - good or bad - and I can keep an eye on your account to make sure things go smoothly.
