Sounds like a simple enough edit for OSM, and I’m sure someone will do it for you.
Or you could delve into the world of Open Street Map (OSM), and do the edit yourself.

Edit: One other thing. I forgot to look if this info is there, but as a Garmin user I can upload the activity to OSM as a “trace.” This makes edits quite a bit easier, as if you run the road, you can use the uploaded trace to add the road to OSM. Or to know where gates are, which requires the road to “split”, at the gate, in OSM, and mark the part behind the gate as “private.” All this is in the wiki. I think.
