In an ongoing pursuit of using every single tool that city strides offers, I do find myself actively performing a task that I’d love to consider automating.
I often plot out routes, save them, then view them and look at the streets they cover. I then toggle on the hide/show button to see if that specific route will complete any new streets for me. Once I know the total of streets that I will complete on that specific route I rename the route and include in the naming both the number of streets that it will complete for me and the overall mileage. This gives me a library of routes that I can quickly browse through on a daily basis and determine which to pursue based on how much time I have, the weather, etc.
If there was a way to automate the naming of the route so that it was amended with the distance and streets completed (a bonus would be streets progressed as well) that would be incredibly useful. Even if only recorded at the time I author the route ( I’m clear that these stats could change based on overlapping route progress of course). Dynamic data would be insanely useful.
