City of Ithaca disappeared from the list of cities and all progress is not showing and when clicking on the border of Ithaca in the life map, it shows an error that it no longer exists.
Fun™ admin level weirdness in OSM… I’ve re-added that (City of Ithaca, New York - CityStrides) but the reprocessing might take a while.

@JamesChevalier This is my point that I did not so eloquently state, but you did. New York is a mess, I’ll peruse various cities and verify admin levels.
But the City of Ithaca (admin level 8) is nested in the Town of Ithaca (admin level 7)
if you make concessions with one city, you need to make them for all.
This isn’t a concession. That data doesn’t exist at admin level 7. City of Ithaca is not nested in Town of Ithaca, it’s an enclave of entirely separate/isolated/unique streets.
If there are any other blank spots at any other level, I’ll add them. 
I really have to get the global city map updated to make that easier to spot. I’ll queue that up tonight.
Also / just in case: This not being a concession does not mean I won’t make concessions - we can point to the 10k nested cities already in CityStrides to confirm that. We can make this work.
Fair and yes some work to do. To separate those incorporated villages with their own government and municipal services from being nested into the larger township to which they are geographically placed.

Voorheesville < Town of New Scotland
Menands < Town of Colonie
Cooonie < Town of Colonie
And hundreds more

Yes, I had read about that issue, and I hope you didn’t take my note as a complaint. I am not a subscriber, and I use CS casually, so I was just making an observation. Thanks for all you do!

Hello James- It’s been awhile since I have posted/used this site and got tagged in a follow up email in regards to the new “layout” for Long Island New York. To my astonishment, although funny to me, I somehow lost over 5000 streets completed.
i can attest that Long Island should be reverted back to the previous admin level.
Here is an example of Long Island’s Town of Hempstead with Washington Avenue as a single street to complete. This is just one example. I don’t believe the intention is to have streets broken up like this. The original level for all of long island was correct with the many listed cities. Each city also does have its own zip code as previously mentioned.

Related question – is there any plan to add Brooklyn community boards? My understanding is limited but I assume this is done in OSM and not in CityStrides, but just curious.
