Make “don’t alert me again” permanent

I’ve probably clicked “Don’t alert me again” about the node Hunter limit probably 500 times. I suspect this is a browser/cookie setting?

Could we make this permanent as a profile setting?

Yeah, it’s a cookie that was added in 2022: Removing multiple alerts about node limit - #2 by JamesChevalier
The cookie has an expiration of 1 year from the time of clicking the “Don’t alert me again” button. Are you regularly clearing cookies from your browser?

I’ll try to find some time next week to look into how much of a change it is to move it into the database.

Yessir mostly on my crappy iOS Firefox.

Edit: I should say, I very rarely intentionally clear them, but I’m often running into this alert, but I’m sure it’s an issue with my browser(s) and not your site.
