When I press home and on my lifemap I always have to scroll down to where I want to be. Maybe a feature to add in settings where I add a pin or something what position that should be shown when pressing lifemap.
The LifeMap centers over your default city… Is it possible that changing your default city will resolve this issue? That settings is present in the Profile section of your Settings page.
I have Kiruna as my city, but the municipality is very big so the lifemap starting point is far from the city center.

In the meantime, you could zoom/pan to exactly where you want & bookmark that page. While on your LifeMap, the URL updates whenever you adjust the map so you have a sharable/bookmarkable page for specific views.
