This is the link to the activity where I ran Gavin Road in Emporia, KS. I ran to the gate of the city water treatment plant. At the time, the road showed that it went on past the gate and continued into the private area. I got on OSM and modified the road to end at the gate. Now on my city strides map the road looks gone like the change processed, but the nodes are still there.

There’s a delay between edits in OSM appearing on the map, and a different delay between those edits appearing in the CityStrides site.
The map display is something that Mapbox manages. They seem to update their dataset fairly quickly.
The node/street data is what I have control over. The last update date is displayed on the city’s page, just under the name. You can figure something between 2-4 weeks per update.
If an edit happens to be done close to the city update, it’s possible that it won’t make it into that round … There’s another service that I query for data which also has its own delay in OSM edits making it in there - that delay is usually on the scale of hours, though.
