Is there a way to vicariously purchase a map of a completed city for a different strider than ourselves?
No, not at the moment.
I like the idea, but I’d also need to figure out privacy implications. Letting anyone purchase a LifeMap Poster of anyone else would allow people to pay to get access to their private data.
Maybe I can figure out some kind of prepay setup, where one person can pay for the LifeMap Poster and the other person can, at a later time, submit the order free of charge.
That makes sense. I’m guessing the prepay option you’re describing is too niche to be worth implementing.
Maybe, yeah … the alternative to me doing anything is people buying/making a card and writing a note about how they’ll pay for a poster.
