Categories of inaccessible roads

Hi

I know there are lots of related topics on this forum, but this is a new question

There are examples of roads in Oslo, Norway, inaccessible for the public, but they are marked with red nodes in CityStrides (CS). So far, nothing new in this question, but:

I have edited them i Open Street Map (OSM) and set the access category/attribute to “employees” and “permit”. The general public is not allowed access to those roads. I made this update a few weeks ago.

Yet, the red dots does not disappear during CS updates.

  1. Which “access” attribute value in OSM “disqualifies” the relevant roads at matter i CS?
  2. Is there a problem that the road I refer to (Verkseier Furulunds vei, Oslo, Norway) is divided into several sideroads/branches with the same name, but different access attribute?

Hope I was clear. Thanks!

You can see the search query here Overpass Street Query
I would have used access Private

Before changing it I would consider that several people have already completed the street you mention Verkseier Furulunds vei

But none of them are in Hard mode, at least some of them have not done all nodes when I look at their LifeMap

Thank you for your reply.
I’ve checked, and they must have marked it as completed or something, because they haven’t all been there.
I can verify that I was denied accesd. I actually asked if I could enter and explained why  But no

Thank you! Maybe I should, but the attributes i chose are more precise, I think.

Maybe you’re not aware of the fact that in normal mode in CS, you only need to catch 90% of the nodes of a street to have it marked as complete. So if a street has 60 nodes, and you miss five, you are still complete. Unless you choose hard mode, then you have to catch every node
