# What is the start time of the monthly challenge?

Hi,
I ran on May 1st and 2nd and it totals 50 streets but in the May challenge only the May 2nd race appears.
What is the reason?

It’s _supposed_ to start at midnight UTC the day of, but I noticed the Challenge didn’t appear in the active list until the 2nd this month. I’m thinking that this delay _also_ affected the calculations, because my stats script also displayed 0 completed streets on the 1st.
I’ll look into the start time issue, and then I’ll reprocess all the activities on the 1st - that’ll bring in the missing street counts.
