in 2000 I finished every street in my town, but five years later there are some new streets and also boundaries must have shifted or something so I have spent the last few weeks picking off little stragglers that showed up.
this morning, I ran what I thought was the last few miles, but now that I’m finished city strides is showing me unfinished streets that it has not showed me before.
One of these new streets that has never been shown to me before is very near a tiny 1/10th of a mile or something that I ran miles out of my way to capture this morning. If the app had shown this unfinished road to me last week, I could’ve finished the street today.
Wondering what new unfinisheds the app will uncover after I finish these three.
Everett was updated in CS on Jan 9, and you seem to have many active OSM mappers there. Your three incomplete streets were all updated recently, by three different mappers, so no surprise to get new streets (or parts of streets) to run.
I have Stockholm and three neighboring cities complete since two years, and it’s a never-ending story, there are new streets to complete several times a year
I’ll need street, city, and account links to verify anything.
If you have activities within 25 meters of nodes that are marked unfinished, then there could be a bug in the post-sync processing. If these are new nodes that are further away from any of your existing activities, then these are probably new/valid edits.
