Marketplace "street"

I came across this “street” when running: zuiderMRKT - CityStrides
It caught my eye because of the unusual spelling. It is not the actual name of the street/square, but a market (event). It is defined in OSM as a way, with amenity=marketplace: Way: ‪zuiderMRKT‬ (‪61096610‬) | OpenStreetMap
I have not come across something like this before, so I am not sure whether this is the correct way to do it in OSM, but it looks like it. It seems that using the Key:amenity - OpenStreetMap Wiki tag means it isn’t a street, so perhaps the import should ignore ways that have an amenity tag?

If you run the streets around that marktplace, you would automatically hit the marketplace nodes. So no prob there i guess?
