# Garmin sync bug?

I only noticed this because I was surprised to see my activity automatically appeared in CityStrides. Normally I manually upload my activities via Runkeeper, I just had a historic sync from Garmin and kept it paused for a long time, we’re talking years. I went to Settings → Activity Trackers and saw the two Garmin buttons, with syncing active. I have since re-paused it but this doesn’t seem ideal. It’s possibly only been doing this since 9/9 because that was my last activity that went into CityStrides via Runkeeper and not Garmin.

Garmin is forcing an authentication change by the end of the year. I just did all the work to convert everyone’s accounts, which resulted in a new connection record for everyone. When I created this new connection record, I didn’t carry along the `paused` setting.
If you refresh the page, do you still see two Garmin entries?
