I plan on having the comments from the main site link back to topic discussions within this community site. For examples, you can check out this post about speeding up Rails 4.2 where the comments are included at the bottom of the page.
I need to wait for Discourse (the software that powers this community site) to support multiple sections for embedded posts, though. Without that feature, we’d have one category named something like ‘CityStrides’ which would contains topics for every type of content - street, activity, city, etc. Instead, I want to have a different category for each type of content … This would let people easily have local discussions about streets in their city, without having to wade through topics about people’s activities etc.
