Adding new Kentucky areas in OpenStreetMap

Added a bunch of Kentucky areas to the tracker a few months ago. Looking for a review on if I did it correctly and if there would be an ETA for implementation into CityStrides.

Not a rush, but would like to have them added before end of year. Looking to fill in a large section of my personal heat map (everything on the inner loop of i-275) and some of these KY towns will be a part of the area eventually traversed.

Thanks.

I’ve moved your post into its own thread, because this is a new topic.

You added a number of places in Kentucky to the missing city doc (scroll to bottom of the ‘Cities missing/broken in OSM’ sheet) … but these places are not mapped in OpenStreetMap - they’re only present in there as Nodes (not Relation or Way), so they’re unusable for CityStrides.

We’ll need people much more capable at OSM editing to help create those city boundaries.

I’ve lived in this region of the U.S. my entire life so this post caught my attention. I scanned the document for the Kentucky entries. I noticed most of them (all?) are unincorporated places. Unfortunately, by the very nature of being unincorporated, they will not have official boundaries that can be mapped in OpenStreetMap.
