Adding a county defined in OSM to CS?

I read the post about adding a new city (or general administrative division) to OSM. But unexplained was how to get CS to recognize the new (or existing administrative division). In my case, I would like to, at least in my profile, get CS to recognize my county so that I could track completed streets in that defined administrative division. (Having my default city in CS is great, but we have lots of “donut” areas I run through and I’d like to track them as well.) How do you get CS to recognize the other administrative divisions defined in OSM?

Agreed. How about a mode where a county is used as the main structure instead of city? (CountyStrides?). It would probably be pretty difficult to complete a whole county, but chasing a high percentage would be ok.
